- So what is different (improved?) with the 2.4rev board over the previous
- releases? My board has dozens of capacitors and resistors that seem to
- have been afterthoughts (soldered on over DIPs, doubled up, etc.) Does
- the latest board merely include these elements in a neat arrangement, or
- are there REAL improvements? (As if Gravis would actually admit to us
- that we have an already outdated board...One can always HOPE for honesty.)
-
- Despite the jumbled appearance of my GUS, the sound is quite good, especially
- when compared to the SoundBlasterPro. I have even compared the GUS to the
- Turtle Beach Multisound CD sampler, and the difference is negligible if
- present at all.
