  25. So what is different (improved?) with the 2.4rev board over the previous
  26. releases?  My board has dozens of capacitors and resistors that seem to 
  27. have been afterthoughts (soldered on over DIPs, doubled up, etc.)  Does
  28. the latest board merely include these elements in a neat arrangement, or
  29. are there REAL improvements?  (As if Gravis would actually admit to us
  30. that we have an already outdated board...One can always HOPE for honesty.)

  32. Despite the jumbled appearance of my GUS, the sound is quite good, especially
  33. when compared to the SoundBlasterPro.  I have even compared the GUS to the
  34. Turtle Beach Multisound CD sampler, and the difference is negligible if 
  35. present at all.
