- What the title says.
- Why is it that every sound card company out there (except for Soundblaster)
- completely alienates PS/2 users? (please avoid such flame-bait as "ps/2's
- aren't worthy/are pieces of junk/are IBM propaganda" I really don't want
- editorial comments from the peanut gallery)
- And why in gods name charge double the price for them?
- Are they actually able to do MORE than the EISA boards or are we just
- suppose to bend over becuase we have a true-blue?
-
- I guess I'm writing this out of frustration. In truth I'd love to
- put a sound card in my machine (a model 70 w/ 386/20mhz) but I refuse to
- pay out the nose for something that's :
- a) pretty much substandard to current technology (SBpro just isn't as good
- as some of the newer boards...and
- b)does nothing more than the EISA boards (sorry PS/2 doesn't equal money bags,
- despite the cost of the basic machine)
-
- Anyone got a rational answer? Any company reps out there wanna make me feel
- less forgotten?
