  13. I have a PAS-16 and I am running the 3.08 DOS driver and the 
  14. 1.4Beta drivers in windows. When I use software in DOS, instead of
  15. a nice loud beep, I get sort of a "thunk". Some software in Windows
  16. makes the same sound, in particular SimCity 4 Windows. All digitized
  17. sounds work fine. Any ideas? Do I have a bad card or MB?

  19. My IRQ and DMA are the defaults suggested in the manual.
