- I was leafing through the January Keyboard Magazine and saw an ad for the
- Emagic Soundcard, which is the one being distributed (and designed, although
- they take only dist credits) by Ensoniq. As it's been mentioned, this
- card uses a simlar chipset to the GUS, as the GUS is based on the Ensoniq
- chipset. It's sposed to be directed more at the pro musician, but the added
- sound proecessing abilities and Soundblaster Pro Hardware Compatibility I
- think would make it an ideal ameteur digital studio, and fine game card...
- if you know what i mean.:-) (and the several megs of memory you can load it up
- with.)

- I've been thinking about starting an Emagic mailing list....email if you think
- that'd be cool. IT IS NOT A SUBSCRIPTION...just let me know if your cool with
- it. This would be for folx interested in the Emagic soundcard, not just
- the chipset....if it was the chipset..there about 10 different cards we'd be
- talking about (all in development.)
