- I would like to hear from anyone who is successfully using a GUS board
- on an EISA machine.
-
- Here's the scoop. A friend of mine recently got a GUS and a game
- called Star Control II. He says the board sounds great but it won't
- work correctly on his system with this game. After some time on the
- phone he found out there is a problem with the OPTI chipset in his 486
- ISA machine. One solution is to upgrade his system to an EISA
- motherboard.
-
- Any comments would be appreciated. I don't read this group often, so
- please send mail to my account.
-
- Thank you.
