- Media Vision has recently released two bundles called Fusion with either
- the PAS-Plus or the PAS-16. Both of these bundles come with an external
- CD-ROM drive and a pass-thru for the SCSI cable. This pass-through is
- custom designed to mate the internal 50-wire SCSI cable with an external
- 25-pin Apple connector used by many external drives. It is just a piece
- of metal with connectors, occupying a slot, that passes the SCSI and
- audio lines (for audio from the player to the sound card) between the
- inside and the outside. This piece is part of the Trantor driver kit
- and can be purchased separately from any CD-ROM drive for $80 (?).

- Since I have other SCSI devices that require a full functioning
- SCSI interface, I have not pursued this route myself.
