  12. Does anyone own a Zeos 486/66 and is working with a AHA 1542B?

  14. I'm currently trying to get it coexist with the existing IDE drive
  15. and am using the AHA1542B only for one external drive.

  17. I haved tried all DMA, IRQ, Port, and made sure that termination is 
  18. correct.  The current SCSI ID is 0.  When I used the onboard bios
  19. to detect it as drive D: (IDE drive is C:), it is fine, but that external
  20. drive is a removable, so I needed to use ASPI4DOS AND ASPIDISK to run
  21. it.  However, ASPI4DOS wouldn't complete the loading process, such that
  22. it displays the card info (IRQ, PORT, etc) when I use /d option, and is 
  23. "hung" right there with the LED on forever.....I suspect this is a problem
  24. with driver which doesn't load, but I can't figure out why (It is a clean
  25. boot, with no TSRs).

  27. I have tried to get in contact with Zeos, but haven't been able to locate
  28. any technicians what are free to help me with this....and nothing about it
  29. on the BBS of Zeos nor Adaptec.
