- I hope you can lend me your expertise. I am a Library Media Specialist in a
- large suburban high school. We have several stand-alone CD-ROM IBM
- workstations and several inquisitive students who try anything to access the
- C>. I have each of the stations set up with a direct access menu which
- prevents exit to system by use of passwords. This does not prevent powering
- down and cold reboot or warm reboot. Location of the workstations prevents
- relocation of electrical power source. Is there any way of disabling the
- following:
- 1. Use of keys - Ctrl Break [ to terminate batch jog]
- 2. - Ctrl Alt Del [to reboot]
- 3. - Ctrl Alt Esc [to access configuration screen of a clone we
- have on permanent loan]
- 4. Blocking out messages that are automatically written to screen when
- booting. [Our loaner has the following - To access configuration menu, press
- Ctrl Alt Esc]

- Please send replies to me Rita Kaikow, e-mail (K12RZK@VAXC.HOFSTRA.EDU) or send
- mail to me at Oceanside HS Library, Oceanside, NY 11572

- Thank-you
