  13. I just bought a new 486SX-25 clone system, and I'm pretty happy with it, 
  14. except for one thing:

  16. I do a "DIR B:" (B: is my 3.5" floppy drive) on disk #1, and get a valid 
  17. file listing.
  18.  
  19. I take out disk #1 and replace it with disk #2, which is known to have
  20. different files on it (verified on 2 other machines).

  22. I do a "DIR B:" again, and I get the *same* file listing as I had on my
  23. disk #1!
  24.  
  25. If I reboot the machine and do a "DIR B:" on disk #2, I see the correct
  26. listing of the contents of disk #2 (which again supports my contention
  27. that disk #1 and disk #2 have different files on them).
  28.  
  29. In other words, my directory listing is the same for every disk I insert
  30. into drive B: forever, until I reboot.  Can anyone tell me what's going
  31. on?  Thanks for any help!!
