  41.   Only the *first* access (after insertion) to a floppy is slow because
  42. DR DOS 6.0 reads in the whole FAT for later faster access. This is
  43. documented in one of the information files on Novell's BBS and FTP
  44. system (no pointers handy, but can try to find them).
