- When I bought my 120MB Conners drive last year I used Disk Manager to set
- it up. This means device=dmdrv.bin in my config.sys. Recently I tried to
- set up a disk cache, using the Smartdrv.sys driver supplied by MS-DOS 5.0
- (bought in 6/91 I believe). Smartdrv tells me I have a non-standard
- partition and refuses (properly) to install. I also note that FDISK doesn't
- see my 5th partition.
- What are my options? I assume I need to:
- 1. Backup hard drive
- 2. Repartition with FDISK
- 3. FORMAT each logical partition (plan only 3 this time, instead of 5).
-
- Is this correct? Any short cuts available?

- Thanks very much for your nethelp, Ron Sidwell
