- Cards with 16550s pre-installed are hard to come by. If your current
- card has actual 16450s on it (one or two 40-pin DIPs) instead of
- rolling everything into one surface-mount chip, your best bet would be
- to order a couple of 16550s from some place like JDR or Digi-Key.

- If, OTOH, your serial (or, more likely, multifunction) card is one of
- the "all-functions-in-one-chip" variety, try picking up an old serial
- card at a swap meet and then get 16550s for it.
