- Well, I overstate. but it is making my life annoying.
-
- Okay, fine. I try running the elysdemo.zip I got on wuarchive.
- I decompress the thing, and it starts putting out hidden files, and such.
- okay, no problem. then it locks up my computer when I try to run it, I
- believe.
-
- So, I reboot. hard disk write protected. I get this every now and then,
- thouroughly annoying stuff. So, I try to correct it.
-
- However, the directy I put the elysdemo in is now getting errors.
-
- Scheck /f C: says, 'erase this directory' and run scheck again.
- chkdsk /f C: hits the directory and locks up.
- Norton disk doctor tries to fix the directory and fails, saying 'Still cannot
- read directory after moving'.
-
- So, I have this bad directory. sucks to be me. I think I'm going to
- deinstall stacker ----- it's usually safe and reliable, but the defrag
- procedure takes _forever_, and there are too many shareware programs that
- when run, barf all over stacker, forcing me to scheck and junk to fix things
- in my hard disk to get stacker to stabilize.
-
- does stacker 3.0 have any of these problems?
