  19. Get DESQview--it works great with DR DOS and allows you to
  20. preemptively multitask on just about any system.  I have a 286-12 with
  21. 2 megs RAM, and DV allows me to run a BBS in the background while
  22. reading QWK packets, doing file management, or whatever in the
  23. foreground.
