  15.   I'm looking for the best tape backup I can get for under $500.  I've
  16. seen adds for a $250-ish 250Mb Colorado tape backup, but what I'm most
  17. concerned with is portability and reliability (vs capacity).  I've
  18. only got a 210Mb drive to worry about (right now).

  20.   A friend tells me that QIC-24 format will be readable just about
  21. anywhere.  What are the most common tape formats, and who supports
  22. them?
