- I'm looking for the best tape backup I can get for under $500. I've
- seen adds for a $250-ish 250Mb Colorado tape backup, but what I'm most
- concerned with is portability and reliability (vs capacity). I've
- only got a 210Mb drive to worry about (right now).
-
- A friend tells me that QIC-24 format will be readable just about
- anywhere. What are the most common tape formats, and who supports
- them?
