- Unless you're intending to buy one of those 300 dollar cache cards, with
- the genie-on-a-chip, dont bother. I installed a new IDE card w/
- my upgrade, and it's done no good. It's my opinion that my DMA channael
- is messed up, because i think my hd transfer rate is down a bit,
- but that's a lot more subjectie than the phsyical swapping i did with my
- floppy :)

- As an aside, i have a friend who had the same problem w/ his 386/40, and
- ever since he's installd OS/2, it's been fast again. This persisted even
- after he *wiped* os/2 off the drive.....is there something here? Is OS/2
- the cureall of the ninetys? :)
