  12.     I have a 106MB Toshiba IDE hard drive.  I've had it for almost 2 years 
  13. with no problems, but over the last couple of days I've been going crazy over
  14. it.  3 times now, all of a sudden when I'm trying to run a program or something,
  15. I get a message about an error in my file allocation tables.  Each time I've
  16. used Norton Disk Doctor to fix them, but lots of files have been corrupted and
  17. I have to reinstall everything.  Today, I tried to edit a file and got the 
  18. message :
  19. C> file sector not found
  20.  
  21. So, anybody have any clues?  Is my harddrive dead?  I appreciate any help
  22. or advice.
