- Help!
-
- I have a 106MB Toshiba IDE hard drive. I've had it for almost 2 years
- with no problems, but over the last couple of days I've been going crazy over
- it. 3 times now, all of a sudden when I'm trying to run a program or something,
- I get a message about an error in my file allocation tables. Each time I've
- used Norton Disk Doctor to fix them, but lots of files have been corrupted and
- I have to reinstall everything. Today, I tried to edit a file and got the
- message :
- C> file sector not found
-
- So, anybody have any clues? Is my harddrive dead? I appreciate any help
- or advice.
