- Yep, 2x4+1 = 9. The 3 chip SIMM versions have two 4x1Mbit chips and 1x1Mbit
- chip. Together that is 9x1Mbit. The storage is equal to 9x1Mbit chips, but
- the refresh cycle isn't.

- Not on all computers! The problem is that the 3 chip SIMMs have a refresh cycle
- that differs from the 9 chip SIMMs. Older motherboards can run into problems
- when they can't refresh the 3 chip SIMMs properly. Newer motherboards don't
- have this problem, as most of them support but the 9 chip and 3 chip versions.
