- Hi,
- I'm having some trouble with the above drive. It's connected to a no name
- PClone, 386SX, 8 MB RAM, AMI BIOS, through a Future Domain TMC 840. Using a
- WD 1003 to run the floppies, or an IDE with the HD disabled, no HD installed
- in the BIOS setup. The drive is correctly recognized by the TMC-840, and gives
- the correct capacity. Using Future Domain's media analysis I get 0 errors. But
- when attempting to create a partition with fdisk I get "No space left on
- device". Also Quantum's analysis software complains about "Write protect".
- Does anybody know what the problem is? How to fix it? What software to help
- diagnose? Where to get it?
-
- Thanks all.
-
- Cheers
