  16. Right you are!  In the December 92 issue of Byte magazine there is an
  17. article on head to head comparisons between various CPU's including
  18. the Intel 486SX/25 and the AMD 386/40.  In virtually all the benchmarks,
  19. the AMD was right at or just a hair below the performance level of a
  20. 486SX/25.  I would imagine the 486SX/33 would be considerably faster
  21. than the AMD because of the faster clock rate.
