- This is quite true... programs which overrun the 486 internal cache
- would get "knocked-out" to any external cache, but one could easily
- find an example of overrunning the external cache (ie. a server or
- multitasking windows). That is way most cpu manufacturers recommend
- at least a 128K external cache... although something on the order of
- 1MB might be better for servers and/or multiprocessors.
