- i have pretty much the same problem also! i have a 2400 baud modem that
- i use to use in my xt and it worked great. however after i got my 486 and
- stuck it in, it would freeze on me about every two to three hours...
- soft-reset usually works but it doesn't hangup the line... only a hard reset
- will hangup....

- maybe like the above post suggested, the mb is too fast. if anyone else has
- any suggestions please post. thanks in advance.
