- I upgraded my system from a 286/12.5 to a 486/33. I took
- the two drives that came with my 286 (1.44M and 1.2M), and put
- them in the 486.
-
- Now I know that floppy drive access under DR-DOS 6.0 is slow,
- but now it is painfully slow. In fact, it seems slower than
- when I had the 286.
-
- Anyone have any suggestions or insight? I don't have the slow
- drive access problem under OS/2 2.0.
