- It's not likely that a monitor or video card makes the noise because none of
- them have speakers. However, the intermodulation of frequencies inside PC
- may cause PC's sounding devices to make noise. Two possible sources of noise
- are PC's speaker and modem.

- It could be the problem of modem. Disconnect the modem to see if the noise
- still exists. My PC used to sqeal before I replaced the cheap modem with
- a better one.
