- I've got a little problem and wondered if anyone out there can help me out,
- I'm trying to use a Maxtor xt1140 120Mb MFM hard drive on my 386 but cant get
- it working. The drive powers up ok when no cables are in it but when I put the
- 20pin data cable in it cuts the power to the drive.I've got a 16bit MFM
- controller card which works ok with my 20Mb drives.
- The Drive was ok on my xt with an 8-bit controller.
-
- Is there any jumper settings that I should change that would make it work?

- Rob.
