  23. I checked the IBM's at Sears myself and decided to test the 
  24. salesman. He had a cheat sheet that he was looking at
  25. for essential data like what Intel chip the unit had, etc.
  26. When I asked about getting more RAM and a bigger disk,
  27. he said there's this 800 number ... Whoa !

  32. That's a drawback of IBM. Their prices are competitive now
  33. that is, until you start expanding/replacing. Their parts are 
  34. not standard sizes. Then you pay the penalty for buying IBM.

  40. A lot of places advertise IBM memory chips.
