- The Amiga ROMs are currently 512K. The new Amigas (1200 and 4000) allow
- for up to a 2 meg ROM if the need ever arises. To upgrade to a new OS,
- just plug the ROM chip into the slot, and you're ready to go. Boot off
- of a Workbench disk (or other bootable disk) and you're up and running.
- Of course, I (and many other Amiga users) will probably install the
- Workbench programs on the hard drive. It's not necessary to do so, but
- preferable.
