- This wouldn't be such a problem if System 7 didn't assign a fixed stack
- to the apps that didn't close. They're still there taking up RAM. Even
- worse, you get memory fragmentation if you close an app that you opened
- earlier than a second app which is still running. A third app can perhaps
- run in the space once occupied by the first app plus whatever is on top
- of the second, but it won't, since the memory is in two fragments.
