  12. Hi,
  13.   I looked over the past discussions and everything seems to be
  14. said that you need to buy a special card that runs both
  15. types of drive.  Whether this is right or wrong is not really my
  16. question.  Heres the situation.  My brother has a 286 with a MFM
  17. 20 meg drive.  His Christmas present is a 125 meg IDE drive.  He
  18. has a controller that will run 2 IDE drives and 2 Floppies.
  19. He has the seperate controller that runs the MFM.  Can I just
  20. hook up the IDE to the IDE controller or do I actually have to
  21. buy another card for it.  Please, if you can, tell me the cheapest
  22. way to implement this.  Thanks for your time.
