- Hi,
- I looked over the past discussions and everything seems to be
- said that you need to buy a special card that runs both
- types of drive. Whether this is right or wrong is not really my
- question. Heres the situation. My brother has a 286 with a MFM
- 20 meg drive. His Christmas present is a 125 meg IDE drive. He
- has a controller that will run 2 IDE drives and 2 Floppies.
- He has the seperate controller that runs the MFM. Can I just
- hook up the IDE to the IDE controller or do I actually have to
- buy another card for it. Please, if you can, tell me the cheapest
- way to implement this. Thanks for your time.
