- I use an AMD 386DX40 and I am very pleased with it. It runs DR-DOS, Win 3.1
- and OS/2 flawlessly and fast.

- Take a look in the December Byte. There's an article comparing various CPUs
- including the AMD chip. The benchmarks indicate that its performance is
- comparable to the Intel 486DX33. If you want to add a math coprocessor,
- it's much cheaper to buy a '387 from Cyrix, IIT or ULSI (~ $90{).
