  12. A co-worker in my office has encountered a strange problem with
  13. her PC: it occasionally becomes "stuck" on certain dates.

  15. The problem has happened twice.  The first time it happened was
  16. on the Monday after Thanksgiving.  For some reason, it was stuck
  17. on the 24th.  The second time it happened was today.  The clock
  18. reported the date as December 7th.
  19.  
  20. Does anyone know why this might be happening?  The computer (an
  21. inexpensive 286 clone) is still on warranty.  Should we try to
  22. return it?
