  14. Which is the older technology: 3-chip SIMMs or 9-chip SIMMs?  My PC
  15. takes 3-chip SIMMs, and I have noticed that 9-chip SIMMs are far more
  16. easily available in the marketplace.  Are 3-chip SIMMs an older
  17. technology, and likely to disappear from the market in the near
  18. future?  Or are they simply newer, and not as widespread yet in the market?
