  13. How fast have you people out there been able to get TRUE transfer rates
  14. on the Adaptec 1542 SCSI bus mastering controller?

  16. I have mine hooked into a 16 bit slot to a Maxtor 7120S and I'm getting
  17. transfer rates of slightly less than 800KB/sec.

  19. I've tried chainging the DMA rates on the card, but its up as fast as it
  20. will go.  Any suggestions?
