  12.   Please could someone let me know how to connect a SCART video recorder
  13. (which I haven't yet bought) to a 14" svga monitor for an IBM PC.  I
  14. will also be wiring the sound through my HiFi (but I have done the
  15. latter before).

  17.   I would like to do this - because I already have a colour svga
  18. monitor - the quality should be a lot better than a TV - and I do not
  19. want even more boxes strewn around the place.  I am a dab hand at
  20. soldering - so I am ok to wire my own plugs.
