  13. I am seriously thinking of running a bbs under PCBoard, using
  14. a CD-ROM drive for file downloads.  Is there software for this, 
  15. does the CD-ROM drive have to be fast, or is the file copied to
  16. the hard drive before the DL.  A friend told me the older drives
  17. were not fast enough for a 14.4k modem, is this correct?

  19. No one in the area has a bbs with FREE DL's from a CD-ROM.  The SIMTEL
  20. CD-ROM seems to be nice at a good price.  Any other suggestions, for
  21. either software or drives?  Any help would be appreciated.
