- IBM has a set of chips with the SLC suffix to indicate an x86 chip
- (licensed of course) with a lower (L) power option and really good
- cache (C) management.

- The `C' at the end of Cyrix's chips is merely a way for them to paste their
- stupidity on their products....a safeguard for customers, no doubt.
