  20. It amazing me sometimes the garbage dealers tell their customers. I am a
  21. dealer myself and handle ATI products. I have talked with LOTS of customer's
  22. with full blown 486DX/50 systems and ATI cards function properly....though if
  23. you Motherboard says MADE IN TIAWAN(SP)...can you really expect it to be
  24. compatible?

  26. Just be wary of the problem with the ATI Pro card. If you have more then 12Meg
  27. in the system, you can't turn on their memory apeture as that can it. This
  28. causes a problem with the supplied Windows drivers because they need the
  29. memory aperture to run. I guess ATI assumed if people have the ISA bus, they
  30. are not going to get much RAM. Anyway, ATI has fixed the problem and have the
  31. new driver to correct for this. It can work with or without the memory
  32. aperture. Incidently, you can print with it as well. They had a problem with
  33. that one too.

  35. If you buy the card, and the software with it is 1.0, CALL THEM OR THEY BBS
  36. and get the driver that works! PRO50.ZIP at (416) 756-4591.
