- About a year and a half ago, I bought a monitor and video card from USA
- Flex. The pair work fine together. Unfortunately, they never sent the
- manual with the video board. I suspect that it is a Cardinal VGA
- board, but I am not sure. If anyone has this board, can you please confirm?
- Here is what I know about the card:
-
- -During boot-up, BIOS reports that it is Cardinal BIOS v2.1.0
- -System diagnostic software report a Chips & Technologies VGA
- chipset
- -The board has all of its RAM soldered on (can't add any more)
- -This is an 8/16 bit ISA slot card (I'm running off an XT)
- -There are 2 video connectors on the back
- (1) 15-pin VGA connector
- (1) 9-pin digital video connector (EGA, CGA ?)
- -Also on the back is an opening for 1 DIP switch bank (4 switches)
- -This board supports up to 800x600x16 SVGA resolution.
-
- What I really want to know are the basic specs of this board, and the function
- of all of the jumpers and DIP switches that are located on it.
-
- Thanks a lot!
