- I bought it at Egghead on Friday. It's not bad. I've logged 4-5 hours on
- it so far, without a single lockup or problem.
-
- It does seem slow on a 386/33 however. I've got all of the detail
- turned on, and have not tried turning things off yet.
-
- So far, it doesn't look like it's going to replace Falcon3 for me.
- It's a nice game, but there's none of the planning/details that
- you can do with a Falcon3 campaign.
-
- If you have a Thrustmaster WCS, they support it, but require a new ROM
- upgrade, as they didn't use the existing F15II settings for it, MEGA SIGH!
-
- It does support modem-play, and seems to be fairly well done.
-
- The graphic effects seem to be well-done. Better than F3, and about
- the same as Comanche. It's not as rough down low as Comanche, but then
- again you don't get as low & slow in a F15. :-)
-
- It does have a typical "easter egg" that MPS games are known for.
- (If you've seen the spreadsheet in GS2000, then you know what I mean. :-)
