- The fact is I erased the game. I might have not if I had realised the TSR was
- causing the slowdown. The frame rate is more or less divided my two. But I
- would not use that as an argument against buying a Gravis Ultrasound. If the
- Ultrasound were supported in its own mode, then the game would be fine. I
- noticed the fact that F15 III even supported the PAS/16, which might be a sign
- that Microprose will maybe one day support the GUS one day.
- To sum up, I would say that the Ultrasound is not what you want if you want to
- play the current version of F15 III.
- I use the GUS with many other games, and the slowdown is usually not as
- noticeable though, which is why I am happy with it. Since F15 III is not a
- great game, I am not too annoyed, but if Strike Commander was slowed down a
- lot by the Ultrasound, then I might consider getting something like an LAPC.
