  15. I just bought a Diamond Speedstar 24X SVGA card, paid about $170 for it
  16. mail order.  This card is about 50% faster than my Diamond Stealh VRAM 1MB
  17. card in Windows, and MUCH faster than my friends ATI Vantage in DOS or Win.

  19. It sped up virtually all of my graphics games (links 386, Out of This World etc
  20. ) by a factor of 2.  My m/b is 386-40 with 4MB RAM.

  22. If you are thinking about a new video card, this is the best value I have
  23. found in a long time.  Drivers are good as well.
