- I just recently got the civilization master edition.
- It comes with the standard documentation (about a 50 page book)
- As well as Sid Meiers Guide to Civilization (Not Rome on 640k)
- Which is not a lot of help unless you are new to the game (i.e.
- " Always keep at least two units guarding every city"
- "Roads are very helpful in defending your area: build them around your cities and
- to whatever fronts you are currently fighting on"
- "Always make sure your infrastructure is up to the task of supporting your population"
-
- ) and so forth. Very few precise functions on how things are calculated, but
- a good intro to the game.
-
- Oh, and you get a civilization mouse pad (oh yay. I am so impressed) of better quality
- than the ones you get for free when you buy a computer at fry's. (No, I didn't)
-
- I don't know what version of the program comes in the package.
-
- You make the decision as to whether it is worth the extra money. I bought it
- because that is the only version that Egghead was stocking that day.
