  12. I just recently got the civilization master edition.  
  13. It comes with the standard documentation (about a 50 page book)
  14. As well as Sid Meiers Guide to Civilization (Not Rome on 640k)
  15. Which is not a lot of help unless you are new to the game (i.e.
  16. " Always keep at least two units guarding every city"
  17. "Roads are very helpful in defending your area: build them around your cities and
  18.  to whatever fronts you are currently fighting on"
  19. "Always make sure your infrastructure is up to the task of supporting your population"

  21. ) and so forth.  Very few precise functions on how things are calculated, but 
  22. a good intro to the game.

  24. Oh, and you get a civilization mouse pad (oh yay.  I am so impressed)  of better quality
  25. than the ones you get for free when you buy a computer at fry's.  (No, I didn't)

  27. I don't know what version of the program comes in the package.

  29. You make the decision as to whether it is worth the extra money. I bought it
  30. because that is the only version that Egghead was stocking that day.
