- I agree.
-
- Dune 2 is a BIG improvement over Dune 1.
-
- I'm usually the type who hates games like SimCity, Civilization, etc., where
- you have to build this, then build that...
-
- But Dune 2 was different.
-
- I finished the game using House Harkonnen. House Artiedes aren't very strong
- offensively, but they are good at harvesting the spice.
-
- I'd recommend getting the trainer done by RR/FLT.
-
- It gives you unlimited credits and can protect your House. And there's an
- option that makes two hits = instant death for ANY unit. I couldn't get
- the protection to work for my house, though...
-
- Even with the unlimited credit it took like 3+ hours to complete each of
- the later battles.
-
- The computer side has a BIG advantage in that ALL his bases are set up with
- power plants, construction yards, etc. while you have to build your base
- from SCRATCH each time.
-
- Also, the computer seem to have close to unlimited funds, too. I don't know HOW
- they can keep building all those tanks and troopers.
-
- All in all, an excellent game. GREAT digi-sound f/x.
