- 1) Upstairs, the scorpion tailed gorgons at the top of the stairs can be
- killed. The key to the solution is in the vase in the bedroom.
- 1.5) More info on this is in the book found in the attic.
-
- 2) The rifle should not be used on the green zombie-guys. They're easy
- to kill w/o wasting any ammo if you practice a bit. Save the rifle for
- killing the purple bird-things.
-
- 3) Do not use the cavalry sword for any combat. It'll break easily, and
- you'll need it in the non-combattive sense later in the game.
-
- 4) There's health vials found in both of the house's bathrooms.
-
- 5) There's oil found in the room at the bottom of the attic stairs, on the
- shelf. Use this to fill the lantern. Use the lantern in dark rooms.
-
- 6) The purple jellyfish-beast in the lower bathroom does not have to be
- killed, if such a thing is possible.
-
- 7) The jug in the lower bathroom can be filled with water (found in the
- kitchen area), then used to extinguish sources of dangerous smoke.
-
- 8) The heavy statuette has great powers against armor, as noted in one of
- the books. This will give you a decent weapon to use against the
- pirate.
-
- 9) Do not take the arrows from the garden until you have killed the pirate
- and opened to back ballroom door.
-
- 10) The hatchet-throwing portrait can be covered with the Indian blanket
-
- 11) The arrow-shooting portrait can be disenchanted by shooting an arrow
- at it from a safe distance.
-
- 12) The study at the back of the art gallery has a niche in the wall behind
- the clock.
-
- 13) The false book will trigger the mechanism in the library.
- 13.5) The record in this room will appease the ghosts in the ballroom if you
- play it. Get the key they were guarding.
-
-
- 14) The "librarian" can be killed using the dagger specified in one of the
- books in the ritual room.
-
- 15) In the cellar, get the block so that the hole in the wall is no longer
- blocked by the barrels. Do not enter the hole.
-
- 16) The room behind the smoke-filled room has a secret door leading down.
- See #3. Do not go down without the lantern, plenty of oil, and the
- key from the ballroom. Don't burden yourself with the books.
-
- 17) Explore.
-
- 18) The sea chest can be opened with the ballroom key.
-
- 19) The door at the end of the labyrinth can be opened with the gemstone.
-
- 20) The talisman will stop the evil one from launching fireballs.
-
- 21) The evil one's tree is flammable. Throwing a lit lantern at it from
- close range is fatal.
-
- 22) Get out. ;-)
-
- Enjoy,
-
