- Hi, I know a friend who will soon be acquiring an MS-DOS machine who I
- would like to play Falcon 3.0 over the modem with. Questions that I have are:
-
- 1. How does modem speed affect the play? I have a 2400 currently but
- noted that the manual recommends about 19K. Would a 9600 suffice? Has
- anyone played with just a 2400?
-
- 2. I have a 386DX/33 with a co-proc. He's looking into a 386DX/40 (no
- co-proc). How will play be affected if our machines are running at
- slightly different speeds? How about the 486 series vs. 386 as well?
-
- Thanks for any info!
