  13. We are using Microsoft Mail version 2.1, and the SMTP gateway option.
  14. This setup has been working fine for over a year, but we are now 
  15. experiencing some very wierd behavior.

  17. Our environment is made up of PCs and Sun workstations, all running TCP/IP.

  19. PC mail users are able to send mail to other PC users with no problems.
  20.  
  21. PC mail users are also able to send mail to our Unix systems with no problems.
  22.  
  23. Unix mail users can send mail amongst themselves, with no problems.
  24.  
  25. Unix mail users (or any mail user outside of the Microsoft Mail environment)
  26. CAN'T send mail to PC mail users.

  28. The strange part is that the mail acts like it is being delivered just fine. It 
  29. never bounces back to the sender, but it never shows up in the PC mail user's 
  30. mailbox either.

  32. Here is some output that I captured from the smtpgateway console, with all the
  33. information options turned on.

  62. directories stores the message data?

  72. problem.
