  12.     Howdy, I have just built a cable to connect my hp48 to a PC through
  13. a 25-pin serial port.  My question, and it may be a dim one, is can the printer
  14. port be treated as a serial port by Mess DOS?  Yes, I have no serial port.  The
  15. machine has a game port (15 pins) and a printer port only.
