- Yep, they work fine. You have to make sure that the printer and the 48 are
- set to EXACTLY the same parameters. Try this:

- 2400 baud (you can speed it up once you are sure it's working)
- 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity (that's NONE)
- no handshaking (not XON/XOFF, not ENQ/ACK, not RTS/CTS)
- (On the 48: IR/wire should be "wire")

- You may also need to get another cable to connect your 48 to your printer,
- one that swaps the TXD and RXD lines.
