- Here was my problem:
-
- After I installed SmartROM from disk, I noticed the calculator
- warm-booted, wile on, without being touched. It didn't really bother me
- then the following happened:
-
- 1). I used the CSTMENU command
- 2). Started a spreadsheet.
- 3). Exited, saved it, then XPURGED it.
- 4). Moved to another directory and started a saved spreadsheet, then
- 5). exited and did a few simple calculations
- 6). let the calculator sit there for a few minutes on, untouched
- 7). watched it warm-boot itself;
- 8). Your (JKH's) version of AUTOPORT ran << 1 MENU MYFLAGS >>.
- 9). Now the SmartROM CST is the current menu;
- 10). I pressed the spreadsheet icon
- 11). There_may_have been an undefined XLIB error.
- 12). "Try to recover memory;yes/no" appears
-
- 13). I stopped using XPURGE and the CSTMENU commands: no problems
- 14). I started unimg XPURGE again: still OK so far
-
- I still don't use the CSTMENU command, as now I think it could be the
- AUTOPORT program that is SmartROM's CST menu's undoing, and I don't
- really need the functions it offers.
-
- I think it's strange that it only happend to_my_calculator. I did have
- the TDS Structural Analysis card in at the time, other than that I didn't
- have anything really unusual loaded.
-
- thanks for the message-
