  10. Here was my problem:

  12. After I installed SmartROM from disk, I noticed the calculator
  13. warm-booted, wile on, without being touched.  It didn't really bother me
  14. then the following happened:

  16. 1). I used the CSTMENU command
  17. 2). Started a spreadsheet.
  18. 3). Exited, saved it, then XPURGED it.
  19. 4). Moved to another directory and started a saved spreadsheet, then
  20. 5). exited and did a few simple calculations
  21. 6). let the calculator sit there for a few minutes on, untouched
  22. 7). watched it warm-boot itself;
  23. 8). Your (JKH's) version of AUTOPORT ran << 1 MENU MYFLAGS >>.
  24. 9). Now the SmartROM CST is the current menu;
  25. 10). I pressed the spreadsheet icon
  26. 11).  There_may_have been an undefined XLIB error.
  27. 12).  "Try to recover memory;yes/no" appears
  28.  
  29. 13).  I stopped using XPURGE and the CSTMENU commands: no problems
  30. 14).  I started unimg XPURGE again: still OK so far
  31.  
  32. I still don't use the CSTMENU command, as now I think it could be the
  33. AUTOPORT program that is SmartROM's CST menu's undoing, and I don't
  34. really need the functions it offers.

  36. I think it's strange that it only happend to_my_calculator.  I did have
  37. the TDS Structural Analysis card in at the time, other than that I didn't
  38. have anything really unusual loaded.
