  33. Supposedly any CIO HPIB adapters bought for a Series 800 system
  34. contain a subset of what is necessary to function on a Series 900 MPE
  35. system but in that Series 900 HPIB adapters are a superset of what
  36. Series 800 (HP-UX) systems need, they should work without replacing
  37. them too....  Follow? :)  The PDC firmware change doesn't surprise me,
  38. but I wonder if it is /really/ necessary.
