- Supposedly any CIO HPIB adapters bought for a Series 800 system
- contain a subset of what is necessary to function on a Series 900 MPE
- system but in that Series 900 HPIB adapters are a superset of what
- Series 800 (HP-UX) systems need, they should work without replacing
- them too.... Follow? :) The PDC firmware change doesn't surprise me,
- but I wonder if it is /really/ necessary.
